'Introduction to Mindfulness' course starts 28th February
We run occasional days on a mindful theme, details of which will appear in the Calendar section. These will include;
Do you struggle to stop the chatter in your mind? Give our silent retreat day a try!
The session lasts for 5 hours, and after an introduction, we will begin the main part of the day, during which participants remain in silence, avoiding interaction with others.
Don't worry, we will be guiding your activities throughout, with a gentle programme of core mindfulness activities, interspersed with breaks and spells of quiet contemplation, before we break silence at the end of the session.
While many people are nervous at the prospect of a quiet day, it can really allow you find tranquility and leave you energised.
Drinks, snacks and refreshments are provided, but please bring your lunch, a yoga mat and anything else you need to make yourself comfortable.
This day is suitable for experienced meditators who have completed any taught mindfulness course.

Completed a taught mindfulness course, but struggling to keep you practice going, or forgotten what you are supposed to do?
We are offering this 'reboot' course for anyone who has completed a taught mindfulness course but feels like they need a refresher.
The course will last 5 hours, and will recap the main meditation practices, together with looking at why they work.
Drinks, snacks and refreshments will be provided, but please bring your lunch and a yoga mat.
The course is suitable for anyone who has completed a previous taught mindfulness course, but is a bit fast for beginners. It's better as a recap than an introduction!
